The engine and transmission both have had complete rebuilds. The front end was also completely rebuilt. The Dart has been repainted the original R4 Red color and it has all the original sheetmetal with no rust or bondo ever. The car looked great, much more needed to be done as I am a fanatic for detail.

It had the Chrysler rallye wheels from a '70 Dart on it so after a long search I found the correct stock wheels and the very rare correct "Mag-Style" wheelcovers. The white "bumblebee" stripe was old and starting to peel so I had a new one put on. My son Matt repainted the engine and did an awesome job considering he repainted it in the car! (about 15 hours work and lots of masking tape).

I purchased a set of factory exhaust tips and had a custom bent aluminized exhaust system put on. Boy, does the car sound great!! The biggest problem I had was the interior. It was a bucket seat with cloth interior out of a '67 Dart and just didn't look right. One Saturday I was driving the car and I met a gentleman named Mike who is currently restoring another 340 Dart Swinger. continued...
